Are today's business journalists likely to repeat the same mistakes from the last technology boom?

"Not the good ones. The last tech boom should have reminded all journalists about the importance of skepticism and the value of asking simple questions. Let's hope it also made clear journalists should not be cheerleaders." -Pam Luecke, Reynolds Chair, Washington and Lee University

"While there is still pressure to cover hot stocks and be the first with inside news, journalists are now more aware of being manipulated. As should their editors - mistakes can be avoided by tougher editing." -John Burr, Asst. Managing Editor - Business, Florida Times-Union
